I am the treasurer for Chris Kessler, who is running in the Democratic primary for state representative in House District 32. Chris is a man of energy and action who will fight for us in Augusta.

I met Chris when he conducted our energy audit and saw his passion and knowledge regarding energy efficiency. To that end, he served on South Portland’s Energy and Recycling Committee and worked on the city’s Climate Action Plan.

Chris is concerned about the lack of affordable housing and renters’ rights. He organized for change and helped create South Portland’s Housing Security Ordinance to better protect renters. He continued this advocacy after becoming a homeowner, showing his dedication.

Chris values open spaces and the environment and collaborated with neighbors to restore Mill Creek’s Pope Preserve.

Chris believes in transparency and is running as a Clean Election Fund candidate.

I want Chris’s advocacy in the House.
