Likely we have all been told, “Don’t waste your vote. Instead, check the candidate’s history and passions to see if he/she stands for the things you value.” Well, I am writing to share information about Richard Rottkov, Democratic candidate in House District 32. Richard is a strong environmentalist. Like me, he cares about keeping our ocean clean, keeping it free of medication, plastic bags and other trash. He is the standard-bearer for clean air, earth and ocean. He believes in open spaces and a trail system that allows you and me to walk or bike safely. And he is passionate about our next generation and the quality of education we provide. I think one of Richard’s strongest pluses is his willingness to talk with you, not at you.
