Thanks to Tony Payne for putting his finger on the Marriage Equality Act defeat (“Campaigns played our children as pawns”). But he is too polite by far. Bishop Richard Malone, Marc Mutty, and the Rev. Bob Emrich sold their souls to the devil for a California sleazebag who had discovered that pushing the bigotry button – a baseless fear of school children being contaminated – worked.
