I wish to urge voters of House District 108 (Cumberland, North Yarmouth, Chebeague Island and Long Island) to cast their votes on Nov. 2 for Meredith Strang Burgess. For decades the voters of this district have sent smart, qualified, hard-working people to represent them in Augusta. Meredith meets these qualifications and more. Her experience in owning a small business, her unwavering support for higher education and job creation, her concerns and commitments to do something about runaway state spending and rising taxes and her professional and community leadership skills all contribute to the ingredients we need for representation that will make a positive difference.

I’ve always admired Meredith’s energy, her passion for what she believes in, her ability to focus on the task at hand and her commitment to our beloved state of Maine. Fellow voters please join me and send Meredith back to Augusta. We won’t be disappointed.
