For the first time in 30 years, District 4 residents in Portland will choose a new city councilor. As an active community member and engaged parent I feel it is important to have a councilor representing our district who knows the issues and people involved. That is why I am proud to support Justin Costa for the District 4 City Council seat.
Justin has spent six years representing District 4 on the School Board and he has proved his commitment to our city. During his tenure he spent four years on the Finance Committee and, as a result, he knows the School Board, the council, legislators and other Portland leaders. His experience and relationships will serve our city well.
I’ve known Justin for many years. He is intelligent, he works hard and he is accessible to his constituents. I’m proud to support him for City Council.
