In my 33 years in Cape ELizabeth I’ve paid careful attention to our legislators. State Sen. Rebecca Millett is a standout.
As our senator, she has consistently supported education, by working to get extra dollars for our schools, allowing our local government to reduce property tax burdens. She knows that for our state to succeed in the coming years, our students must be able to thrive and our citizens cannot be burdened by higher property taxes.
She is committed to providing a bright future for our students who want to work in Maine. She has worked to create legislation custom-tailored to Maine’s size and demographics, supporting small business and bolstering entrepreneurship to generate opportunities for our youth. My grown children spent their summer here. But they need a prosperous economy to return. Sen. Millett is working on that.
