Rep. Amy Volk, R-Scarborough, continues to push her and her fellow Republicans’ solution to a nonexistent problem. As (Republican) Secretary of State Charlie Summers recently confirmed, there is simply no evidence of statistically significant voter fraud occurring as a result of Maine’s decades-old same-day voter registration law.
How Volk can continue to support this – after having been proved wrong – is beyond me. I expect better of the woman representing me in the state House.
