Ashley Drew is a 2004 graduate of Scarborough High School, the recipient of many music awards, a talented musician and a graduate of the University of Maine. She is also is need of a double lung transplant due to cystic fibrosis. When the current band members learned about Ashley, they took action. Bake sales, cash donations, and the annual Pops Concert ticket sales yielded more than $5,000 for the “Air For Ashley” effort.
If you’d like to help, cash donations are still being accepted for Ashley. Please make checks payable to “Scarborough Band Boosters” with a note “Air for Ashley” and mail to: Scarborough Band Boosters, P.O. Box 6564, Scarborough ME 04070-6564.
