The Robbie Foundation wants to extend its appreciation and thanks to all of the business owners and members of the community who helped make our first annual Benefit Gala an amazing success. More than 75 people attended the event  on Oct. 12 at the Black Point Inn in Scarborough.

The event raised $11,000 which will go towards bridging the gap for Maine children and youth with developmental disabilities in Maine. Ninety-five percent of the money raised by RF goes to purchasing adaptive equipment, therapeutic treatments and other services not covered by insurance. In the past two years, the Robbie Foundation has donated more than 20-thousand dollars to families with children with developmental disabilities.
