I’m a candidate for Falmouth School Board. My family moved to Falmouth from Maryland six years ago. I have three children: One son is a 2013 Falmouth High School graduate, another is an FHS sophomore, and my daughter is in eighth grade. I currently work as an editor and writer for a food magazine, and I’m a volunteer producer for MPBN’s radio program “Maine Calling.” Since moving here, I’ve volunteered at all three schools and have created newsletters for the elementary school PTO and the Falmouth Music Parents Association.

The quality of Falmouth’s schools was a central reason we chose to live here. I’d like to help maintain this quality in the face of challenges such as adopting proficiency-based learning, growing societal pressures on our kids, as well as state-driven budget cuts. I would be honored to have your vote to serve on the School Board.
