What Falmouth has been told about Jim Chaousis portrays a negative and unjust assessment. Jim is a Mainer, former Marine, Harvard-trained professional and devoted husband and father. He possesses an open mind and listens to all to guide an outcome to an equitable conclusion.

Rockland never gave him the opportunity. Most of his time was spent dealing with overblown accusations like censure. But I’m not going to dwell on the negative.

In Rockland, his creativity came out Day 1 in budget development. The police contract was up, and skyrocketing insurance premiums were unbearable. He saved the municipality $300,000 in premiums offset by creating a $100,000 employee health savings plan to cover deductibles for the officers. There are plenty of examples.

True character is doing the right thing even if not popular. Jim listens, considers all parties and crafts creative solutions. Consider what’s best for Falmouth and vote for Jim.
