The Robbie Foundation wants to thank members of the community for making our third annual Gala Evening a smashing success. The event took place Oct. 17 at the Black Point Inn in Scarborough, and featured a live auction and performance by Maine comedian Karen Morgan.
The event raised $18,500 – money that will be used to improve the lives of children and youth with developmental disabilities throughout Maine. Over the past four years, the foundation has raised more than $100,000 for children and adults with special needs. The money has helped purchase adaptive equipment, therapy treatments and services that are not covered by insurance.
The Robbie Foundation wants to thanks its many sponsors and supporters, as well as WCSH’s Sharon Rose Vaznis and Jackie Ward for emceeing the event. We also want to express our gratitude to business owners who donated items for the silent auction.
