I urge you to consider Bill Rixon for Freeport town councilor at-large. Bill is a retired teacher, engineer and coach with an affable and earnest personality. As a 30-year resident of Freeport and an active community member, he knows the town’s needs better than anyone. As a retired teacher, he understands the importance of quality education and has the skills to promote constructive changes in our community.
For years I have joined Bill in neighborhood ice hockey games. On the ice and off, Bill is an attentive listener and a patient teacher. I believe his calm, decisive nature will lend itself well to the role of councilor. I know Bill has a passion for Freeport and the skills to act on it. I invite you to join me in voting for him this November.
