We in Falmouth are very fortunate. We have two candidates for the state Legislature whom we can easily support, even though we can only vote for one.
Mark Richard is an honest, straight-shooting, level-headed young man who has shown his willingness to listen and his strong prudence with our money. He definitely has my support, but I can’t vote for him. He lives in and will represent District 112 and I live in District 113. Jason Harris will get my vote. He will work for competition in the health-insurance field, for jobs, less spending, lower taxes, smaller government, lower energy costs and improved education. Both men understand that Maine needs to be a friendly place for business and for folks of all ages – the young through the old – to live.
Maine folks may want to be all things to all people, but we need to live within our budget. Mark Richard and Jason Harris are good for Falmouth and good for Maine.
