It’s reassuring, in these troubled times, that men and women of principle still make themselves available for public service. Lifelong Falmouth resident Greg Payeur has declared his Republican candidacy for the state House of Representatives from Falmouth in District 44. Greg, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam, is a product of Falmouth schools and the University of Maine. An entrepreneur, he owns his own small business and understands the problems facing small business.

It’s been said that “no man’s life, liberty, or property is safe when the Legislature is in session.” I think we can all sleep a little more soundly with Greg Payeur representing us in Augusta.

I know Greg to be a man of principle with the courage of his convictions. If you love liberty, if you treasure our Constitution, if you’ve taken Economics 101, if you value New England common sense, you’re going to vote for Greg Payeur. I know I am.
