I have known state Rep. Teresa Pierce for almost 10 years and know her to be an enthusiastic and extremely competent public servant. Her history of town service includes being president of the Falmouth Education Foundation, being a two-term town councilor (elected chairwoman twice) and presently being a Maine state House representative. Her passion and knowledge for different topics (education, environment, marijuana, health and land use, to name a few) have enabled her, in her House position, to propose and/or support legislation to improve lives of our school-age children, to keep up our roads and bridges, to protect our drinking water, to develop responsible legislation regarding adult use marijuana, as well as other legislative initiatives. I am confident in recommending Teresa Pierce as the more accomplished and effective candidate to represent House District 44.
