State Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, has earned my vote for re-election in House District 44.
During a time of increasing partisan rancor, Teresa has earned my vote because of the practical and bipartisan approach that she brings to her work as a legislator. Some of the initiatives that Teresa has supported include providing incentives for businesses to locate in Maine and hire Maine workers; working with community colleges and the University of Maine to help educate our workforce for jobs that are currently going unfilled; investing in renewable energy; promoting a transportation bond to rebuild and repair our roads and bridges, and advocating for statewide broadband access.
I know that I can count on Teresa to stay focused on practical solutions that will move us forward together and I hope that you will join me in voting for Pierce on Nov. 6.
