State Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, has earned my vote for re-election. Teresa earned my vote not only because she brings a practical and bipartisan approach to her work as a legislator, but because of her exceptional commitment to Falmouth over the course of many years. Before she represented District 44 in the Legislature, Teresa brought her energy, competence and good humor to a long list of activities closer to home: chairwoman of the Falmouth Town Council, president of the Falmouth Educational Foundation, member of the School Board facilities committee, member of the Community Facilities Planning Committee, vice president and fundraising coordinator of the Falmouth Elementary School PTO, co-chairwoman of the Maine College of Art auction, and member of the Falmouth Trails Advisory Committee.
I hope that you agree with me that Teresa has earned your vote and will join me in re-electing her on Nov. 8.
