I am writing in strong support of Mike Perfetti for re-election to the Cumberland Town Council.

Mike has earned my support thanks to his pragmatic, common-sense approach to issues before the council. Mike carefully considers the facts, engages all points of view and reaches out to constituents before making decisions.

The last few years have been particularly challenging due to significant budget pressure and Mike has demonstrated care and concern in finding ways to make the best use of scarce resources. Cumberland needs councilors who understand how to balance priorities, keeping a close watch on the bottom line while maintaining critical services and recognizing the need to understand the long-term impacts of these difficult decisions.

Mike strikes the right balance for Cumberland and can be counted on to put his good judgment and thoughtful approach to use for the benefit of all of Cumberland’s citizens.
