I have known Chris Orestis since we worked together to prevent Falmouth’s school system from being rolled into a regional school district. It was no surprise to me he was elected to the Town Council soon after. He has worked hard not only for our schools, but also on issues like the Falmouth Flyer, Route 1 and Route 100, open spaces, community center, and the library.

He has also been a moderate and fiscally responsible presence on the Town Council. Not that long ago, the council was politically divided and constantly bickering. Chris has led the way to a more collegial council that is not focused on ideological differences, but is now working for the common good of our community.

The council is well positioned to take Falmouth forward on a number of important projects, and I encourage voters to support Chris for re-election on June 10.
