Democratic state Sen. Rebecaa Millett works tirelessly on behalf of District 29 in Augusta.
We are especially concerned:
About the impact of early education and pre-kindergarten in reducing the achievement gap between economically disadvantaged and advantaged students.
That the state meets its goal of funding education at the 55 percent level, thus taking some of the pressure off our property taxes.
That the state fulfills its revenue sharing obligation to provide statutorily required property tax relief.
That everyone has access to life-saving health-care services without risking personal bankruptcy.
Millett has a long history of serving our communities and embodies Maine’s work ethic of never giving up, working with everyone and coming up with creative solutions.
