Our elected representatives must possess strength, determination and a steadfast moral compass to effectively safeguard our communities from policies that would strip away protections to our environment, educational standards, public health infrastructure and access to quality health care. State Sen. Rebecca Millett embodies all of the traits needed to challenge legislative and executive actions that would have negative impacts on our communities while engaging colleagues on both sides of the aisle in order to find solutions to local and statewide issues.

Millett listens and is responsive to the concerns of her constituents. She recently worked on bills to protect children from lead exposure in their school drinking water, restore funding to school-based health centers, and is a strong advocate for moving forward with funding the expansion of MaineCare to low-income Mainers as passed by Maine voters last November. Please join me in voting for Rebecca Millett in Senate District 29.
