For four years, state Sen. Rebecca Millett has shown passion, determination, and patience as she works tirelessly to improve our state. Upon arriving in Augusta, Rebecca jumped right in as the chairwoman of the education committee, fighting for quality schools in all communities, access to early education, and college affordability. No surprise the MEA awarded her the 2016 Maine Friend of Education Award.

Rebecca understands that our graduates need jobs, and has pushed for an economy that welcomes the future in renewable energy and STEM fields, protecting our precious natural resources while creating responsible job opportunities.

Rebecca has spent her career working on behalf of vulnerable populations – young children, the elderly, and the economically disadvantaged – drafting legislation for Maine’s deserving communities. She fully understands the value that immigrants bring to Maine. I know she will continue to be a thoughtful, talented, and dedicated senator. Please join me in re-electing Rebecca Millett in Senate District 29.
