Please join me in re-electing Claudia King to the Falmouth Town Council. I have known Claudia for many years; first in our capacities as members of the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee, and then in Claudia’s capacity as council liaison to LPAC after she was elected to the council.
Claudia is thoughtful, dedicated and energetic in her approach to issues important to Falmouth, including maintaining the town’s character through preservation of open space; support for varied housing through zoning changes, and work on the Route 100 development.
Consistent with the town’s concern that progress be made in a fiscally prudent manner, it useful to note that while Claudia has been on the council the municipal share of the mil rate has remained flat. Claudia has further supported fiscally prudent sustainability measures and energy audits that promote sound town management.
Let Falmouth celebrate its 300th birthday with people such as Claudia King on the council.
