I write in support of the re-election of Bill Donovan to the Scarborough Town Council.
I have had the opportunity to work with and to get to know Bill in connection with various volunteer positions and have found him to be a fair-minded, even-keeled and thoughtful person. He has done an excellent job chairing the Town Council. His background as an attorney lends itself to his careful and thorough consideration of matters that come before the Town Council and result, I believe, in his well thought through decisions. Many others with whom I interact share my positive opinion of Bill.
In a time when politics are dominated by many individuals who put bluster and unhelpful rhetoric ahead of thoughtful discussion, Bill Donovan offers us proven and effective leadership.
