The Legislature will have important work to do when the next session begins, especially to renew Maine’s commitment to environmental protection. We in Falmouth are fortunate to have the opportunity to re-elect two strong, pro-environment Democratic legislators: Sen. Cathy Breen in District 25 and Rep. Teresa Pierce in District 44. Among many other initiatives, both have supported Land for Maine’s Future, the promotion of solar power, and a statewide ban on single-use plastic bags. Both have been endorsed by Maine Conservation Voters and by the Maine Chapter of the Sierra Club. Please join me in voting to re-elect Breen and Pierce.
