I normally do not involve myself in politics, but after several recent events, I am compelled to write a letter urging people to vote for Sen. Larry Bliss in the upcoming Senate District 7 election. Like many others, I had become disenchanted by the political process, and disappointed by hastily written, generic, cut-and-pasted responses to my inquiries.

However, my experience with Larry Bliss has been quite the opposite. On two separate occasions, I wrote to Sen. Bliss regarding concerns I had about programs for my special needs son. I wrote both letters late at night, and they were quite long and detailed. Within 24 hours, both times, I received a detailed, sympathetic, helpful and informative response that far exceeded my expectations. When I followed up with him, Bliss responded accordingly and showed a genuine interest in helping me and my family.

This man is a rare gem in the political world, and it would be a mistake not to support him. If you are looking for a state senator that will stand up for you, who will really listen to you and help in any way he can, then cast your vote and re-elect Sen. Larry Bliss.
