I would like to thank the Falmouth Town Council for all of their hard work over the past six months toward coming up with a responsible proposal for the future of the Lunt/Plummer-Motz property, and for voting unanimously to put it on the ballot in June. It’s exciting to think that Falmouth could finally have a place for residents of all ages to gather, and that Community Programs could have space to offer more high-demand programming, even to become self-sustaining.

In addition, relocating Falmouth Memorial Library to Lunt is an excellent solution to its critical need for expansion, and I was pleased to learn that this is the least expensive option being considered. My two young children are especially thrilled that their favorite playground might be saved. Sincere thanks, again, to all Town Councilors, and I look forward to voting Yes on Question 1 in June.
