Many thanks to The Forecaster for its front-page coverage of the possible leash law change in Baxter Woods. Those who walk their dogs in that wonderful space have heard those rumors for months.
As stated in the article, dogs have been allowed off the leash in Baxter Woods for over 70 years. It would be a shame if a few complainers could change that ordinance.
The many folks who walk their dogs need to stay abreast of what’s happening and get organized, if necessary. This is the time to voice support for the current ordinance and not allow the few to spoil things for the many.
