I would like to thank Scarborough Town Councilors Judith Roy, Michael Wood, Karen D’Andrea and Carol Rancourt for voting to ban smoking on Scarborough beaches. Also, a big thank you to Healthy Maine Partnerships, members of the Environmental Club of Scarborough, parents, children, physicians, and concerned citizens who took the time to attend and speak at the hearings. I’m grateful for the support and very pleased with the outcome.
