I would like to ask the Scarborough Town Council to please stop the process of closing the end of the Pine Point Road. I understand the deeds have not been finalized. So many people depend on that road to view the shore. I use it every day and many other seniors do. There must be a way to continue to allow car traffic. Since the motel is only open seasonally, it does not make sense to close that road. I am sure if the engineers were told to design a way for car traffic and handicap access down that road, they could make it happen. We have always had access and always should.
I also support Carol Rancourt and Jessica Holbrook for Town Council. I believe they will listen to the public and try to prevent the loss of this very important and historical road to Pine Point Beach.
