I am writing to urge my fellow Falmouth voters to support state Rep. Teresa Pierce for re-election in House District 44. Her first term in office is testimony to how hard she works for us in the state house and the important values and programs she promotes. She supports solar energy and sees the alternative energy sector as a place to grow good-paying Maine jobs, as well as to work towards addressing global climate change. She works hard to protect Maine’s natural beauty by supporting Land for Maine’s Future bonds, which under a different administration would preserve open spaces in Falmouth and throughout our state. She is an ardent proponent of a robust continuum of public education, from strong early education to accessible and worthwhile colleges and universities. Teresa is just the person we need in Augusta to face and effectively address the pressing issues of our time.
