Every year, state Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, impresses me more. As a town councilor from 2008-2014, she was a consensus builder working to maintain adequate funding for public education, preserve open space, and continue fiscal responsibility. Since entering the House four years ago, her fairness and hard work have won the respect of colleagues across the state. She is dedicated to the well-being of our young people. She serves on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee and is devising ways to make Maine colleges more affordable to Maine students.

Teresa is accessible. She makes the effort to meet constituents in House District 44, listen to their concerns, and learn more about their issues. She works hard, and she does her homework.

I am glad to vote for Teresa on Nov. 6. I invite you to vote for her as well.
