This November, Falmouth voters have the opportunity to re-elect state Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, in House District 44. Long committed to Falmouth, Teresa has fought hard during two terms in the state Legislature to protect public health and the environment. Consistently endorsed by the League of Maine Conservation Voters, she has tirelessly sponsored and passed bills that have banned cancer-causing chemicals in household furniture and has established a fund to help citizens test for arsenic in wells, along with a public campaign to let people know they should test for this common hidden hazard. I am confident Teresa will continue her support of the Land for Maine’s Future Fund and her efforts to improve a variety of environmental programs across the state.
