I’m writing in support of Democrat Teresa Pierce for Falmouth state representative in House District 44. Teresa has been involved in the community for years, giving her a good understanding of the various issues that we face, locally and at the state level. I particularly appreciate that as chairwoman of the Town Council, she took the time to understand all sides of an issue, and then worked to build a consensus before moving forward.
Teresa and I share common priorities for our state: education, economy and the environment.
Her experience serving at the town level has made her well-versed in these areas. In the course of her service, Teresa learned how to reach across the aisle and build bridges. Augusta needs more people like Teresa Pierce. I hope you’ll join me in supporting her on Nov. 4.
