We write in enthusiastic support of Democrat Teresa Pierce’s election to represent House District 44. Teresa has served Falmouth and the surrounding community for years with exceptional energy, competence and good humor, most recently, as an active and inclusive chairwoman of Falmouth’s Town Council.
Teresa brings significant experience in the private sector to bear on Maine’s economic challenges. She understands that investing in infrastructure is imperative if we are to remain competitive, attract jobs and develop our economy. Teresa recognizes that small businesses are the engine of growth in Maine; she will work to help new businesses get off the ground. Through her experience at the University of New England, she has come to understand that post-secondary educational institutions and Maine businesses need to work together to develop the skilled workforce we need to thrive in a global economy.
