Our family feels fortunate that our quality-of-life move landed us in Falmouth almost six years ago. While scenic beauty, quality schools, and proximity to Portland were among the initial criteria in our search, one attribute that only presented itself after we moved here was the accessibility of our elected officials. First as a town councilor and later representing House District 44, I have found Rep. Teresa Pierce incredibly approachable, forward-thinking, and collaborative. Whether meeting one on one for coffee at Bernie’s or talking with the students in my graduate class at the Muskie School at USM, Teresa is always willing to meet and connect with our community, both in Falmouth or in Augusta. With Teresa’s virtues of transparent government and focus on long-term solutions for our state in education equity, environmental conservation, and economic development, I could not endorse her enough for re-election this November.
