For the last four years, the people of Yarmouth, Chebeague Island and Long Island have had an extraordinary representative in Augusta. Rep. Janice Cooper, D-Yarmouth, has demonstrated time and again that she has the courage, warmth, and intellect to lead and to provide inspiration for her colleagues. She knows her communities well, and has become an expert in the most pressing problems facing her constituents, from aging in place, affordable housing, access to broadband, the opioid epidemic to educational excellence.
