I am writing to say how pleased I was when Chris Orestis came to my door to discuss his candidacy for the Falmouth Town Council. I have been reading about him in The Forecaster and was very happy to meet him in person. We spoke for a few minutes and I learned all I need to know to make up my mind that I will be actively supporting him.
He is a Maine native and has four boys in the Falmouth schools. He is a business owner and helps families struggling with the costs of long-term care. His priorities are keeping Falmouth the best school town in America, balanced economic growth and environmental preservation, and financially responsible management of our resources and institutions. Also, after knocking on 100 doors before he got to mine I can see he is a motivated person and will be a hard worker on the council.
