We moved to Falmouth because we believed the town’s public school system would give our children access to a superior education. Over the last several months, we have followed and contributed to the discussion on the 2012 school budget.
We overwhelmingly support the budget and full-day kindergarten. When offered the choice to build a new elementary school, the voters in our town said yes by a 3-1 margin. They understood the value of an excellent school system. Everyone continues to understand that it begins with our youngest learners. Now we finally have the space to offer them the program they deserve.
We have been impressed with the thoughtful comments we’ve heard from Chris Orestis. We were very happy to learn that he is running for Town Council. He will represent us well and make decisions that continue to ensure that quality schools are a top priority for Falmouth.
