I moved to Falmouth 18 years ago and opened an insurance business in West Falmouth. I came here from central Maine for the top-notch school system, and for all of the wonderful characteristics of this town. Our schools and teachers win awards for a reason, and our property values reflect that.

It has saddened me to see the lack of civility in national politics trickle down to our local level. A few loud and unruly citizens are setting the tone and it needs to stop. We need elected officials with the courage to represent the moderate masses of people. Town Councilor Chris Orestis has had the courage to stand up to the vocal minority, and represent the moderate majority.

Orestis represents change, enthusiasm and positive energy, and we need all of these things. Please help me join him in supporting all of our citizens. The moderate majority needs to speak up.
