North Yarmouth is no more prepared to run its own school system then I am to run a triathlon. This warrant got on the ballot without a single opportunity to openly and publicly discuss the proposal. After a little encouragement, selectmen have called public meetings to be held on Oct. 10 and 17. Hopefully you are able to attend these, and then perhaps you will see the practically of voting no in November.

My concern is that residents who are hoping we can continue to have at least one School Administrative District 51 building our town felt that this was the solution, and that it would also save taxpayers money. I do not believe for one second that it will work that way.
