As members of the Budget Committee elected by the citizens of North Yarmouth, it has been our privilege to work with interim Town Manager Marnie Diffin. Since 2009, Marnie worked on the budget process of our town with great professionalism. Her skills in municipal accounting, finance and taxation made her an invaluable asset to our work stewarding the North Yarmouth budget. She knows the rules and makes sure everyone follows them, no matter what. She lives in North Yarmouth and her deep knowledge of North Yarmouth precedents and history was very valuable as our committee tried to make informed decisions. She worked many late evenings to attend our committee meetings, and had great dedication to our town. We want to publicly thank Marnie for her expertise, praise her professionalism, and congratulate her for five years of great service to our town.
