When we moved to my childhood home on Harris Road it was a bumpy dirt road. The road was paved a few years later, it started on Tuttle and went to the power lines. During my elementary years we had nine neighbors and we knew everyone’s name. Over time more homes were built, and the road expanded past the power lines to accommodate them. Road improvements were made for the now 74 homes. It is a haven for residents to feel safe while exercising and raising families. Harris Road is as long as it needs to be, it goes as far as it should. There is no need to change the dynamic of this dead end for the sake of rushing, using a cut-through to save minutes at the expense of a safe road. Vote no contract zone on Question 2.
