It has been a privilege to represent the people of District 112 in the Maine House of Representatives these past two years. I appreciate the support of the citizens who voted for me to represent you for a second term.

Our state faces many challenges. I talked with hundreds of you throughout Falmouth and you told me your concerns that Maine’s adverse business climate needs repair and about how we must create more 21st century jobs. We talked about how we must improve our educational systems. We discussed how we insure that safety nets actually protect those in need and help them to become independent and self-supporting. And we talked about the importance of protecting and preserving our special Maine environment. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I hope that you will continue to share your ideas with me as we work together to build a better state.

Many political changes will result from this election. I promise you that I will continue to work in a bipartisan way to solve Maine’s problems with creativity and fiscal responsibility. I have heard you. I will continue to seek your ideas and your suggestions, and to work as hard and as thoughtfully as I can for the benefit of Falmouth and Maine.

Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me and for again giving me the honor of representing all of District 112 in the Maine Legislature.

State Rep. Mary P. Nelson
Falmouth
