State Rep. Mary Nelson has represented Falmouth effectively in the Legislature for four years. As a former chairwoman of our Town Council, she is keenly aware of how actions taken in Augusta can impact our local budget. As a member of the Legislature’s Education & Cultural Affairs Committee, she will be at the table to assure fairness when possible changes in the state funding formula for local aid to education come up for discussion. Known for getting things done by working collaboratively “across the aisle,” she has both the judgment and the temperament we sorely need in Augusta. Finally, as an active and committed member of our community for many years, Mary Nelson represents the best in public service. Mary Nelson has earned another term as District 112 representative and deserves your vote on Nov. 6.
