If anyone has ever been to a hearing for the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee, you learn quickly never underestimate the power of Rep. Mary Nelson.
Having recently gone before her committee, I recognized immediately Mary is not shy about asking anyone questions if she feels the issue is important or needs clarification. She does her homework and never votes on an issue she hasn’t researched as thoroughly as possible.
We need more members of the Legislature to stand up and be counted when it comes to important legislative decisions and Mary will always be that person. She has my vote.
