I have known Christopher Murry Jr. for many years. He is an honest and hard-working young man who will do a wonderful job on the Falmouth School Board. Chris is the only candidate who has been through the current system (along with his brother and sister) and because of this he can provide us with a unique perspective. Chris understands our school system, he sees its strengths, its weaknesses, and knows how it works.

While some like to point out that the school budget hasn’t raised my property taxes the past two years, it certainly hasn’t lowered it any. Chris understands the important balance that must exist between the school and the town as a whole. He will work to reduce spending without impacting education, providing us with a win-win situation. Chris is a proponent of consolidating town and school services, something that we need to stop talking about and start acting on.

What I like about Chris is that he is willing to have open discussions. He believes that everything is worth discussing, especially if it could help our community. Our town needs people like Chris who will encourage discussion and welcome public participation with open arms. Chris takes a positive approach to the issues, encouraging equity among all involved, a tone we have been lacking lately. Chris will work for the kids and the town at the same time. What more could we ask for? Vote Chris Murry Jr. on June 8.
