I am writing to support Democrat Steve Moriarty’s return to the Legislature in House District 45. I have known Steve for nearly 30 years as a colleague, parent, runner and a very conscientious, hard-working citizen of the town of Cumberland. I am confident that Steve will maintain the thoughtful, common sensical approach that Dale Denno brought to Augusta in dealing with divisive and difficult issues. Indeed, we could use more Dale Dennos and Steve Moriartys. Both have set fine examples for public service and will continue to inspire young new leaders to get involved and “do the right thing.”
