We are writing in support of Steve Moriarty for District 108 state representative. We have known Steve for many years through his dedicated community involvement and especially during his many years of exemplary service on the Cumberland Town Council, for which we are personally grateful.
Steve’s attention, fairness and legal expertise are skills that we need in Augusta. Steve will always make his decisions based on facts he has gathered and thoroughly substantiated. His ability to listen intently to information, hear opposing views and then respond with utmost respect and without negativity will be highly valued when he is presented with issues connected with the governing of our state. He has a gift for understanding how issues affect people on a personal basis and integrating that in his final decisions.
We strongly urge voters to elect Steve Moriarty to the state Legislature on Nov. 6.
